What is Pilates?

Pilates, pronounced Pi-laa-teez, is an 80-year-old method of physical conditioning that features hundreds of exercises completed either on a mat or on various pieces of specialized equipment.

Pilates was first developed by Joseph Pilates. Pilates focuses on developing stability with mobility by concentrating on the pelvic, hip, and shoulder girdle muscles. Each class will focus on taking the spine through its natural movements, core stability and shoulder/upper back strength and more! You have to try it to believe it. It will change your body!
